Sadie is learning to say the Lord's Prayer!

Tutus, Wings, Tiaras and Things

Sadie's third birthday party was at Crafty Cottage with the girls from her Sunday School class. They all wore their tutus, fairy wings, princess tiaras and other fancy things. We painted ceramics, made princess tiaras, valentines for mom and dad, and ate yummy cupcakes! Opening presents was Sadie's favorite part! It was a WONDERFUL party!

Three Years Old!

January and February brought winter storms and well over two feet of snow! Sadie is not a fan of cold fingers, so we didn't play outside for long! Singing, dancing, and exclaiming "Ladies and Gentleman!" are our favorite forms of entertainment. Cold days, warm hearts.

Christmas in Colorado

At Mimi and Granddad's for Christmas. Sadie had fun making cookies with Mimi! She also went to the Zoo for the Electric Safari and had a good time with some of our Colorado friends-- she even fed a giraffe.

We went to the park with Auntie Sarah and saw the geese walk on the frozen pond. That afternoon it snowed...Sadie went out to help Granddad shovel the driveway- she had a ball!

Favorite Sadie story from Colorado- one afternoon we were trying to negotiate a snack- I gave the options of pretzels or popcorn...Sadie thought for a moment...waited...then said, "Say Cheetos."
Cheetos are her favorite and are a special treat...but that is all she wanted!
