Sadie Turns Two!

Sadie had her second birthday party on the 13th at the Cabin. Her party was Sesame Street themed- though it was really all about the puppets we made from socks and google eyes! She had her Mimi and Granddad from Colorado, her cousins and some fun friends to celebrate her special day! Her favorite present had to be the teapot! Sadie is very communicative- loves to give directions like "sit down!" "Go take a shower" and "go outside!" She had a great time!!!

slide, slide, slide

A friend gave Sadie this "mini-slide" when her kids outgrew its fun. Sadie loves, loves, loves it! I think she feels like a big girl climbing the ladder by herself. She continues to be a real chatter box- and keeps making directional comments such as "This way," "C,mon!" "Let's go!" Recently she began adding another word-- "Let's go Buddy!" "C'mon, Buddy!" We go for walks to the park in the wagon. Sadie loves to swing and go down slides...who doesn't?!?!

First walk in the snow!

Sadie really experienced a decent snowfall
this Christmas. She even took snow from the tailgate of the toy Jeep and put it in her mouth to enjoy- Cold! -she said!

First Hair Trim

Sadie had her first hair trim. Her friend Reese was there for support. (Reese's mommy was Sadie's stylist!) The before and after shots follow. Didn't cut any curls in back, just made her bangs even.
