Went to the Farmington HS football game with Daddy! The popcorn and the balloon were the best part! Sadie also enjoyed watching the marching band!

October is our favorite month!

We begin this beautiful October with a culinary adventure. Sadie picked the front yard flowers, and made a delicious treat, "Flower Soup." Everything from flour, salt, pepper and sugar went in -- but eventually so did crasins, goldfish crackers, leftover chicken and some pretzels.

She had a wonderful time!

Autumn at the Cabin

In September, we had the Taulbees and the Kilbournes to the cabin for a clergy family retreat. Little Sara Taulbee and Saide had fun dancing, playing in the rain and just being silly!

July 4th at Mimi and Granddad's

We started the day at the Rock Ledge Ranch next to Garden of the Gods for an old fashioned picnic and carnival games kind of activity! It was so fun!
Aubrey and her boys joined Mimi, Sarah, Sadie and me for the day of fun and treats!

Sadie and Auntie Sarah play the piano-- so cute! Sadie funs through the backyard and chases the confetti from the "fireworks." (Party poppers!) Fireworks were banned this year in CO- so dry!

Colorado Camping Trip 2011

We borrowed a pop-up camper and spent 6 nights camping in two Colorado mountain locations-- Pearl Lake outside Steamboat and Paonia State Park south of Glenwood! Tamara, Violet and Oliver joined us at Paonia! We had such a great time! The camper was most handy- Saide loved playing inside- and spent a whole rainy day wrapped up in sleeping bags! We took the canoe and paddled the lake. I saw a moose along Rabbit Ears Pass! Incredible trip!
